Sustainably sourced: Our Thornwood firewood bag is crafted from a mix of invasive non-native Namibian Acacia trees, with its harvesting playing a crucial role in protecting native trees and plants.
Perfect for everyday winter heating or frequent barbecues: Burns faster than our Camelthorn and Sicklebush woods, resulting in quicker coal production. Longer-lasting coals compared to locally sourced woods like Oak, Birch & Ashwood.
Creates a distinct bushveld aroma when burned, enriching meat with a delightful wood-fired flavour that can only be acquired using a wild African hardwood.
High-temperature capability: Burns at approximately 900°C, reducing the need for excessive fuel during cooking.
Lowest moisture content: Naturally sun-dried in the hot Namibian bush, our wood requires no kiln drying.
Average log length of 1 foot(±30cm), ensuring convenience and ease of use. *Slight variations in piece thickness and length.

FREE LOCAL SHIPPING FROM OUR WAREHOUSE:
We offer free delivery using our own delivery van for orders within a 10-mile radius of our warehouse located in Micheldever, SO21 3BQ. Additionally, we provide free delivery up to a 20-mile radius from our warehouse for orders of £175 or more. Please refer to the map on our Contact Page for more information.
PALLET-SIZED DELIVERIES VIA COURIER TRUCK/LORRY:
Please note the following requirements are set by our third-party courier partners and are unfortunately beyond our control.
- Orders are delivered kerbside and must be on a level ground (not slopes).
- This includes our Bulk Firewood Pallets/Crates and all other products with a quantity exceeding 12 bags/boxes or a total weight exceeding 120 kg.
- Delivery cannot be made in height and weight restriction areas, no-parking zones, narrow lanes, or pedestrian crossings.
- Pallet(s) will be delivered on even ground, without operation on gravel, stones, grass, kerbs, or steps.
- Vehicles/Pallet trucks will not be able to access or offload on gravel drives or areas.
- Red zone parking and delivery is not permitted.
- Kindly ensure the vehicle can park in front of the property for 15 to 20 minutes to facilitate delivery.
- Pallet-sized orders are delivered on business days, Monday to Friday. Regrettably, no weekend deliveries unless pre-arranged.

SMALLER DELIVERIES/LESS THAN PALLET-SIZED:
We also utilise third-party courier services to deliver parcels across the UK. These are generally orders with a quantity of fewer than 12 items or a weight less than 120 kg. Shipping costs vary based on the delivery area throughout the UK.
